The Burny/Fernandes FSG models were their early SG copies, which first appeared in the 1973 catalog. The FSG-60 through FSG-80 were only built to order. The beveling on the FSG models was modeled after what was typically found on a 1971 SG, meaning very small scoops in the cutaways. FSGs were mostly made in the Terada factory, and serial numbers are either stamped into the back of the headstock or engraved into the fretboard after the last fret. In 1979, Tokai produced some of their guitars, but it's unknown if this included any FSGs. After that, there were multiple manufacturers, including Terada, Matsumoku and Fujigen. The FSG was ultimately replaced by the Burny SG and Revival Series RSG in 1982.
