SG Wiki

The EB-0 was redesigned with the SG body style in mid-1961. It was the entry level Gibson solid body bass guitar and their best selling bass through the 1960s. The EB-0 F was introduced in 1962 with built-in fuzz circuitry, but only 250 were sold before it was discontinued in 1966. In 1970, a long scale version called the EB-0 L was introduced. The EB-0 was removed from price lists in 1975 and a small number were shipped through 1979.
