The Edwards E-SG was introduced 1989, slotting between ESP's high end Navigator line and budget Grassroots line. Since 1992 (when ESP opened their wood Center in China[1]) Edwards guitars have the woodwork and paint done in China, while the final assembly and quality control is done in Japan. Models with an "LT" in their name have a nitrocellulose lacquer top coat.
