1976 SG-80

The H.S. Anderson SG models were made in Japan by Moridaira. They were produced in smaller numbers and positioned in the higher end of the market.

Serial numbers first appeared in 1975[1], reading right-to-left with the year denoted by the 3rd and 4th digits.

There are three variations of this model: A, B and C. A & B are differentiated by the hardware finish and fretboard material. C is appointed similarly to an SG Custom, and listed separately below. Models A & B are renamed SG-70 and SG-80, respectively, some unknown time after 1973.
