The Historic SG Standard Bolivian Rosewood was a 2020 limited run model with a Bolivian rosewood fretboard, long Maestro vibrola, Batwing pickguard and headstock stinger. It seems to have been preceded by the "Pilot Run" SGST model, which was a Japanese market exclusive. Unlike most Custom Shop SGs, but like many limited runs, this model uses the standard Custom Shop serial number format with a "CS" prefix.
Note: Any Historic SG Standard can be ordered with a Bolivian Rosewood fretboard via Gibson's Made 2 Measure program.
