The Jeff Tweedy Signature SG was introduced in 2012 as a limited run. It is the only SG ever made by Gibson to feature a Natural finished neck with a pigmented/dyed body. Tweedy himself can be seen using a prototype with a 50th Anniversary logo, which was also shown on Gibson's website accidentally. It seems the model was originally intended to be released in 2011 but apparently delayed, because the model code was "SG50W", presumably denoting "50th Anniversary Wilco model". Contrary to rumors, there was no production limit of 200 or so units as is sometimes claimed. The run was only limited in the sense that it was a single year run.
