The SG Exclusive, produced in 1979, was the first limited run SG model ever produced. It was supposedly meant to be limited to 500 units, but it is said that only 478 were actually produced.
A prototype for this model has surfaced, with the notable differences from the final model being a Silverburst finish, no pickguard and black plastic parts instead of cream.
For the SG Standard Exclusive, see here.
