The SG Standard Celebrity was part of the 1991 Celebrity Series, a guitar-of-the-month type series. There were only four months represented, and this was the guitar for August. Only 200 units were produced, and all came with a certificate of authenticity. Circumstantial evidence suggests some may have been shipped with black plastics, but this is unconfirmed.
