SG Xtra Slim

The SG Xtra Slim was a limited edition model produced only for the 2015 model year and was only sold in Canada and Europe. The name is a reference to its slim neck profile. Unlike most other models built in 2015, it has a narrower nut instead of a wider one. A similar neck profile and nut width can be found on the Angus Young Signature model. The Xtra Slim is based on the body design of the SG Special. Although promotional photos depicted an "SG" stamped truss rod cover, they were shipped to dealers with a blank truss rod cover.
