The first SG copy made by Tokai appears to have been the TSG, introduced in 1983 (though some were produced in late 1982)[1] as part of the "Reborn Old" series. Export models feature a unique headstock with a small extra bump in the middle of the open book shape.
The easiest way to distinguish Tokai's Chinese models (aside from the serial number with a CN prefix) is that they have three-screw truss rod covers.
